Aquesta Bank is offering an opportunity to shred personal documents free of charge and help protect the community from identity theft. The shred event will take place on Saturday, April 30 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at both the Cornelius and Mooresville branch locations.
Visitors to the shred event may bring any confidential paper documents to be safely destroyed including: obsolete tax documents, bank statements, cancelled checks, financial statements, insurance documents, business records, etc. There is no need to remove clips or staples. The goal of this event is to help protect the community against identity theft by shredding personal documentation.
Community members may drop off items in secured bins to be shredded as early as Friday, April 29. Shred trucks will be on site at the Cornelius headquarters at 19510 Jetton Road, and the Mooresville branch, 837 Williamson Road, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday. There is NO charge for this service.
In order to help protect the environment, Aquesta is also holding a drawing for a free “Green Egg Grill” for customers switching to e-statements in the month of April.
