The seniors living at Mooresville Center Genesis Healthcare will have a safer environment thanks to the Senior Crimestoppers Program that Aquesta Bank is sponsoring at the facility. Aquesta is funding the program through the Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation, Inc., an organization devoted to reducing crimes in the nation’s senior housing facilities.

The Senior Crimestoppers Program works much like a neighborhood watch where senior facilities with a strong commitment to crime prevention implement increased awareness and a zero tolerance policy. The program will provide on-going crime prevention programs to these facilities designed to deter incidents of crime in long-term care and senior housing facilities.

Aquesta Bank’s sponsorship will allow the 160 residents at the Mooresville Center to become charter members in the Crimestoppers Program.
